Watch Connection Take Shape

Every Creative Sparks Projects program begins with structured, place-based participation between young people, schools and community.
Through this process, protective factors such as belonging, connection and youth voice are strengthened through sustained engagement.
The mural is the visible outcome of deeper community connection.
How the Creative Sparks Projects model works.

Creative Sparks Projects uses structured, place-based creative participation to strengthen protective factors through repeated engagement with young people in school and community settings.
The model is built on three core principles:
-
consistent engagement with small cohorts over time
-
youth-led creative co-design processes
-
trusted adult facilitation embedded in local settings
This creates conditions where relational trust, agency and belonging develop through participation, not one-off activity.

Delivered Through Local Partnerships
Creative Sparks Projects' programs are delivered through partnerships with schools, councils and community organisations using existing local infrastructure.
Programs are delivered in small cohorts of young people, enabling deep engagement and consistent relationship-building over time.
This model integrates directly into existing systems without requiring new service infrastructure.
