🎨 Calling all young people in Romsey & Lancefield! ⚡

Be part of the Creative Sparks StreetLight Program and help design the new mural for the Romsey Skate Park Upgrade! Presented by Creative Sparks Projects thanks to Romsey Lancefield Lions Club and Romsey Lancefield Bendigo Bank. Proudly supported by Macedon Ranges Shire Youth Team.

Are you a young person who is community-minded, creative, or just keen to get involved in your community? Do live, work, play or study in the Macedon Ranges area? Join us for an exciting youth-led mural project where your ideas, stories and voice will help shape the mural design to revamp the toilet block at the new Romsey Skate Park.

Through fun and hands-on Brainstorm Workshops, you’ll get to:

• Share your story and ideas about what the mural should look like

• Explore local themes, colours, and symbols that represent your community

• Help decide the overall message and design elements of the mural

Then, in our unique Hands-On Mural Painting Workshops, you’ll have the chance to roll up your sleeves and help bring the mural to life alongside professional artist Kyle BrightSide from Creative Sparks Projects.

✨ About the ProgramThe Creative Sparks StreetLight Program is a youth-focused initiative that empowers young people to connect, express and contribute to shaping their community. It supports key youth priorities by:

⚡ Strengthening wellbeing - using art as a safe outlet to build resilience and connection.

⚡ Amplifying youth voice - empowering young people to be leaders of co-design and delivery.

⚡ Promoting inclusion - engaging young people in projects that foster belonging.

⚡ Driving civic participation - turning young peoples’ voices into visible community contributions that build pride, cohesion and a sense of belonging.

Each mural transforms public spaces into symbols of community pride - and you can be part of it!

⏰ Time:Session starts at 5:00pm finishes at 6:30pm (Registration required! Limited spaces)

📍 Where: Romsey HUB, 96-100 Main Street, Romsey

🎟 Who: Young people 14 - 24yrs - Living, studying, playing or working in the Macedon Ranges community.
